Its more fun without nods ;)

My first night landing i was trying to use autoland. It/I failed and i had to do it manually. That was a nail biter, or it woulda been if I didn't have a death grip on the HOTAS. Made it tho, and it gave a newfound appreciation for the guys that did it IRL.

New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, HP Reverb (formermly CV1)

Old-N-busted: i7 4720HQ ~3.5GHZ, +32GB DDR3 + Nvidia GTX980m (4GB VRAM) :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, Rift CV1 (yes really).

They typically don't use NVGs to land as it destroys your depth perception. Also they are focused on single point so either you can see the ship and not your instruments or vice versa.

Great vid!
