Fightersdad Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 So finally got the Oculus glasses to work. Now we would like to hook up the foot pedals. Problem settings will not allow me to give then a axis. I should be able to assign a axis to the rudder and breaks. Cannot. Any thoughts? When you push the breaks the throddle moves. Makes for hard flying....
FragBum Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Often DCS will automatically assign the axis for a new device to an already assigned axis. For instance say the pedals are "Brand X" select the Axis filter so the list is shorter. In control settings look under the column for you pedal device "Brand X" and delete the entries in the column for "Brand X" aka your pedals only! Once they have been deleted the axis controls will be available to manually assign to the correct control. Go to your rudder section and click on it in the column for "Brand X" to select that cell then click on new and assign that input repeat for the brakes as required. It's best to firstly do this for "General" then go through each model and edit as required. Control is an illusion which usually shatters at the least expected moment. Gazelle Mini-gun version is endorphins with rotors. See above. Currently rolling with a Asus Z390 Prime, 9600K, 32GB RAM, SSD, 2080Ti and Windows 10Pro, Rift CV1. bu0836x and Scratch Built Pedals, Collective and Cyclic.
