Ares Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 When i was playing LOMAC I noticed the Su-27 is unable to arm/carry the R-77 (AA-12) why is this when in real life it can carry the AA-12.
GGTharos Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 LOMAC models the Su-27S or Su-27P, I forget which - neither model carries the R-77 in real life. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
Ares Posted August 23, 2007 Author Posted August 23, 2007 Ok thats clear now. Its most likely the SU-27S because Su-27P is demonstrator.
RvETito Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Su-27P is the first serial produced variant that has been intended for the Air Defence (PVO) and it's a clean interceptor like the F-15A/C. The Su-27S has come in service later with the Air Force (VVS)- with the only diference the added secondary ground attack capability- up to 6000kg bombs, KMGUs and unguided rockets. "See, to me that's a stupid instrument. It tells what your angle of attack is. If you don't know you shouldn't be flying." - Chuck Yeager, from the back seat of F-15D at age 89. =RvE=
