grafspee Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 (edited) question about carb temp i was flying in p-51 recently and i was observing carb temp. im trying make sense what is going on with carb temp can anyone know where is this sensor placed exactly ?? I set presian map with temp 35 celcius and i managed to go below 0 carb temp at around 4-6kft, you can make ice cubes in hot climate heh :) ok i got it read in p-51 manual carb temp is the temp of air running thorugh carb inlet scoop now everything is clear i had small problem with undestanding behavior of air temp but now i am good. its funny how they used exactly the same gage to coolant temp and carb temp Edited April 11, 2019 by grafspee System specs: I7 14700KF, Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite, 64GB DDR4 3600MHz, Gigabyte RTX 4090,Win 11, 48" OLED LG TV + 42" LG LED monitor
