Installed two TM MFCD’s and am spending serious time with them and the A10C these past few days. I have read the manual and am watching KMBtkrl’s excellent video series on my second monitor learning my way around. I’m working though the TAD menu’s now.

I get level and begin a nice circle bank pattern to kick back and learn. Whenever I press OSB 18 and cycle through various hook options all goes well, until…. I get to “Hook to cursor”. After moving the cursor with my TM HOTAS I immediately loose all coordinate data boxes from three sources at bottom of the TAD as well as having both #18 OSB label, which is “Hook” and the label below it for “Copy hook as mission waypoint”. All five data point displays simply disappear. Cleared out. Vanished.

I rerun my mission taking off again, and all OSB labels are back to normal. I repeat the above scenario half a dozen times now with exactly the same results.

I don’t believe the TAD is suppose to operate this way. However… this nugget could be completely wrong and I am doing something to cause this. I have spent considerable time going through all OSB options on the TAD post this data disappearance and cannot get the data top display back. On one try the data feeds came back momentarily but as soon as I pressed another OSB button they all vanished again.

I’m stuck. What might I be doing wrong?

Thanks!

Bob
