av8r13 Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 hello all, when i pan left or right and then hit the button to return to center view, its snaps back without a transition. is there a way to make the view transition back to center instead of snapping? a bit unrealistic. thanks in advance
amazingme Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 That's why it's called SNAP view and not TRANSITION view ;) Specs: Asus Z97 PRO Gamer, i7 4790K@4.6GHz, 4x8GB Kingston @2400MHz 11-13-14-32, Titan X, Creative X-Fi, 128+2x250GB SSDs, VPC T50 Throttle + G940, MFG Crosswinds, TrackIR 5 w/ pro clip, JetSeat, Win10 Pro 64-bit, Oculus Rift, 27"@1920x1080 Settings:2.1.x - Textures:High Terrain:High Civ.Traffic:Off Water:High VisRan:Low Heatblur:High Shadows:High Res:1920x1080 RoC:1024 MSAA:4x AF:16x HDR:OFF DefS: ON GCI: ON DoF:Off Lens: OFF C/G:390m Trees:1500m R:max Gamma: 1.5
av8r13 Posted May 2, 2019 Author Posted May 2, 2019 i probably did not word it correctly... is there a way to have the view "transition" back to the home view as opposed to snapping back. and to clarify, i am talking about using the hat switch to look left or right, up or down, and them pushing the botton to go back to the straight ahead view
amazingme Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 I recommend you to use a headtrack device such as TrackIR. It'll boost the immersion considerably. You can even create your own device if you're minitechnicus ;) Specs: Asus Z97 PRO Gamer, i7 4790K@4.6GHz, 4x8GB Kingston @2400MHz 11-13-14-32, Titan X, Creative X-Fi, 128+2x250GB SSDs, VPC T50 Throttle + G940, MFG Crosswinds, TrackIR 5 w/ pro clip, JetSeat, Win10 Pro 64-bit, Oculus Rift, 27"@1920x1080 Settings:2.1.x - Textures:High Terrain:High Civ.Traffic:Off Water:High VisRan:Low Heatblur:High Shadows:High Res:1920x1080 RoC:1024 MSAA:4x AF:16x HDR:OFF DefS: ON GCI: ON DoF:Off Lens: OFF C/G:390m Trees:1500m R:max Gamma: 1.5
