Vermont, The Hills of the F-16D

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I took a hiatus from DCS since I was in college for Game Art & Animation (Didn't have any time). Well I was in college I lived in Northern Vermont, Burlington to be exact. Burlington is home to the US ANG Green Mountain Boys who flew the F-16D Block 52. The F-16 squadron just recently left to be updated to the F-35's and will be back in September.

If there is to be another American Map created it should be the State of Vermont. Vermont has a bunch of airports and military sites including Plattsburgh AFB, in NY which is now decommissioned (but for DCS it can still be real). Montreal, Canada to the North and large span of both mountain range with large forests to massive flat farmland. In the winter the state is transformed. If we want another forest map besides Caucuses then this would be a fantastic option. The state is a mid range. Not to large and not to small. Lots of places to fly/ fight. Plenty of geography and monuments to add like Fort Ticonderoga, many Vermont covered bridges, and etc.

It would be interesting to see how another American map would work in DCS.

Hello all,

AFAIK, they flew block 15 (A and B), 15 ADF, 25 (C and D) and 30, but never the 52

This should be a list of the F-16 the flew

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
