F/A-18C wingman unable to use AGM-65F IR Mavericks

Hey guys,

 

I created a simple Hornet mission to test AGM-65F IR-guided Mavericks against a convoy of 4 tanks.

 

My wingman spots and announces the presence of the tanks, but when I select Flight -> Engage -> Engage Ground Targets he always responds "Negative" or "Unable".

 

I've tried this mission with the laser-guided -65Es and GBU-12s, and my wingman engages just fine. It's only the -65Fs he seems to have issues with.
