Documentation. Engine start-up, incorrect commands.

Hey!

 

Going through the manual.

Start-up sequence is very different from the tutorial one.

However I an having difficulties following the book.

Manual, Engine Startup, page 87:

Switch CBs: Airfield power (LWin+1)

Propeller pitch setting automator (LWin+2)

Ignition (LWin+5)

Starter (LWin+6)

Generator (Lwin+7)

 

 

Key bindings are wrong.

The suggested key bindings will set CBs (in the manual order):

Drop ordnance & optional armament

Gunsight

Cabin illumination

Clothes heating

Pitot heating

 

So far the correct key bindings are:

Airfield power: Not assigned

Propeller pitch setting automator: RWin + 8 ( or + 9 I am not sure)

Ignition: LWin + 8

Starter: Cannot find it

Generator LWin + 0

 

Could you set it correctly please?

A checklist in the kneeboard would help a lot.

Yes it would be nice if the documentation, the tutorial, and actually performance matched... Not at my computer but takeoff is a perfect example. The tutorial made me think I should lift the tail at 200 kias, the manual 150, and experience 100-125.
