This is similar to the other performance issue reported BUT I've attached more info.

It appears that the issue occurs when the SU34 hits the blue SAM site, FPS which had been stable at 60FPS drops to single digits, if the SU 34 is removed from the mission and therefore doesn't hit the SAM site, there is no issue. Attached perfmon data, DCS log, track file.

Nothing, no reply from ED...??? What's the point of raising bugs and collecting information when nobody looks at it...

I had this happen the other day, when a flight of four Su-34 attacked a carrier group (Stennis, 2x Perry and 2x Normandy). Framerate took a dive and like you, single digits, often 1 (and less). Had to quit the game.

- Jack of many DCS modules, master of none.

- Personal wishlist: F-15A, F-4S Phantom II, JAS 39A Gripen, SAAB 35 Draken, F-104 Starfighter, Panavia Tornado IDS.

Happened again on a completely different mission using the latest beta build. I need to do some more testing to try and narrow it down..

Yeah, I was truly looking forward to getting into DCS and bought quite a few planes/terrains but this ongoing stuttering/FPS problem (and for me that's in a small Instant Action mission!) is ridiculous. I go from 140+ FPS to 4, it's not acceptable for a modern sim on fairly high end equipment. Only thing I haven't tried (i've tried about 20 obscure "fix it" changes mentioned on this forum) is disabling G-Sync and highly doubt that will make a difference.. For now i'll stick to learning that "other F16 sim ver. 4.34" and come back when this is solved as I really want this to work!

I think it has something to do with exploding objects, unfortunately, due to the unreliability of track replays, it's hit and miss trying to see the problem when replaying a track...

That combined with the fact it isn't 100% repeatable makes it even harder, there is nothing exploding in my IA mission except me as a common freeze point is in a dive.. :D
