Arthipex Posted June 18, 2019 Share Posted June 18, 2019 Good evening everybody, Is it possible that the INS breaks more easily? I wanted to try out all the new weapons in the campaign, and right from the start of the second mission, the aircraft's position was misaligned by roughly 2000 miles. Restarting didn't help and INS re-alignment didn't work at all. Additionally, I was trying out a coop-mission which I created. Everything went smooth there and I didn't fly any aggressive maneuvers at all, but while approaching the carrier, I noticed that TACAN wasn't giving me any distance information (yes, it was in T/R mode). Bearing information was correct though. While figuring out what the issues was, I realized that the ADI was tilted by 30 degrees whilst flying level - same with the ADI on the MFCD. Interestingly, the HUD was displaying the correct orientation. Unfortunately, I forgot to create a track file and wanted to ask, if anyone has experienced the same issues.
