gabgio Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Hey guys, for those of you living around Munich: on Saturday 21 July, the DLR (German Aerospace Center) will have an open-doors day. More info here: https://www.dlr.de/dlr/desktopdefault.aspx/tabid-11095/1997_read-32804/ Topics range from space exploration to robotics, from optical communications (lasers) to flight experiments etc.. There will be a simulator to try, but nothing too fancy (I am not in charge of it, otherwise I would have assembled a proper DCS station ) Unfortunately all flyers are in German, but everybody speaks English, in case. Location is Wessling-Oberpfaffenhofen, some 30Km south of Munich, take the S7 direction Herrsching and get out in Wessling, there will be a bus to bring you at the entrance (or take a short walk, about 20'). If you come by car, there will be parking lots arranged in the fields in front of DLR facilities.. the perks of being in the countryside! Bring your families, kids, and friends along. There will be a number of "beer spots", plenty of Bavarian food and live music. And if you happen to pass by, drop me a PM, I'd be happy to greet fellow simmers Nunc est bibendum, nunc pede libero pulsanda tellus
