Lantirn Help for Single Player Pilot/RIO

I'm trying to drop some LGBs on targets and have observed the following:

 

When trying to slew it's very hard to slew down, anyone else experiencing this or perhaps a hardware issue? I have the TM Warthog and am using the Trim Hat Switch.

 

I have about a 50/50 ratio of succes right now.

Not sure what I do wrong, but have noticed that sometimes when I release the bomb the Lantirn just starts to slew up by itself?? Any ideas why this might happen?

 

I set A/G mode, then Snowplow until I have the target in sight, then slew, then designate, then release, then 10 sec to impact I lase.

Sometimes instead of Snowplowing I use the waypoint switching, and then as described.

 

 

I'm flying by myself so quite a bit of jumping back and forth in the Cockpit.

Slewing works fine for me. I don't use the Trim Hat Switch though. Instead I use the slew control on the TM Warthog Throttle.
