I'm trying to make a single player mission with 2x F14 escort and 2xF18c AI SEAD with JSOW but the F18 refuse to use the JSOW no matter what I tell them to do, they just fly away from the SA10 and into the SA6 site don't shoot and get shot down from the SA6 do I need to run a script ? or a trigger to get them to do it ? Exorcet Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 They've been pretty simple for me to use in the past and require no special setup compared to other weapons, however, the AI has started trying to protect itself from SAM's and right now I don't think it's tuned very well. I encountered a similar problem and filed a bug report: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3963805#post3963805 After filing the report I also realized that this was causing issues in some other missions, for example a HARM equipped SEAD flight would hug the terrain and make terrible HARM launches with little effect. The solution that I'm using for now is to add a trigger option for Reaction to Threat - No reaction at the waypoint where the AI is supposed to attack. This is then turned off after the attack. This is not ideal because the AI will die if it's attached while the trigger is active, so you'll have to be cautious with it.
