I create a mission. I noticed that when I look at the weapon's load out options, I only have two rows of AA weapons with fuel pods.

I really cannot find anything else. Where's the FLIR after an approximate year and a half?

Is there more here and I am doing something wrong? I just don't see much and it makes me wonder a bit.:noexpression:

Sure am looking forward to that Carrier Module they are making! That will be cool, but it would be nice to have a load of weapons and those UFC systems options that are incomplete.

Anyone else know anything?

You probably have the "role" of the aircraft set to CAP so you are only seeing some preset AA loadouts.

Just make a new loadout and you can choose from all the available weapons.

Initial targeting pod is expected in a few weeks.

Ok.. I did one time look at the different assigned flight task's like CAP and CAS... etc.. and I didn't see much at all. But that was some time back. I just looked now and discovered more. Like a dumb dumb, I also discovered how I could right click on any individual weapon station and sub-menu's would pop up affording many options! Thanx!

I then noticed I could remove any weapon and also "remove Pylon" ? I will check again, but if this is removing weapon's station, we could also remove all of them for a more realistic Blue Angel's skin.

Have any tips for tanker placement , I was thinking about 5000 ft? Any advice for way point structure to keep a pattern with the ship's movement, how they do it in the real world?

Thanks man, you've been helpful!

That seems rather low, I usually use ~10,000-15,000 ft.

I don't know of a simple way for a tanker to keep up with ship movement, though I'm sure it's possible with scripting.

I would just set the tanker to orbit (advanced waypoint actions) in a racetrack between the start point of the carrier and a point further down its path, roughly where you expect it to be at the end of the mission.

Hope that helps!
