DCS FIGHTER PILOT Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 Anyway to get the sidewinder growl to be a bit louder in the Hornet? It is a very cool sound after all.
Harker Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 The volume dial is at 100% by default, so not without resorting to a mod. You can use a free tool like Audacity to increase the volume of the sound file, so it'll sound louder in-game. The vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Join the vCVW-17 Discord. Joker328 Posted July 16, 2019 Posted July 16, 2019 You could try playing with the volume mix in the settings. I think weapon tones are under helmet or cockpit (I haven't been in there in a while). Just do a little trial and error. It will probably make other things louder (e.g., RWR), but you can adjust them down in the cockpit.
