I revised a bit my personal Labels.lua file.

I use labels for air units only.

At distances above 3000mt the label is a single black dot "."

At distances below 3000mt the label is a single square "□".

Currently it support only DOT ONLY labels (configurable in DCS Options).

Why a black dot?

Initially I was using the classic "hud green" but there were some problems with it.

First of all the green symbols were visible through the cockpit structure, panel, seat, etc. Kind of unrealistic and felt like "cheating".

Additionally it was a massive help for picking targets in low light conditions.

Black works way better. Sometimes it will be visible through some cockpit parts but nothing that breaks my "immershun".

Additionally, it will be a bit of a minor help in low light conditions.

Hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think.

Thank you for this label mod. It is a nice balance making up for the limitations of screen resolution without feeling like a cheat.

I did tweak it a bit, making the black dot disappear within 3000m instead of the box. It was very simple to just replace the "square" with "" as the definition for aircraft_symbol_near.
