Habu_69 Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 Been flying VR recently and trying to reestablish flying with TrackIR. I export instruments (MFCD, EIFI, Clock etc) to 2 small monitors but cannot get RWR to export. It shows as either green blob or blank. I believe the issue is getting correct configuration of RWR_ALR67_init.lua, Export.lua, or viewporthandling files. I do not use Helios and have set in MonitorSetup F18_RWR= { x = 2260; y = 860; width = 410; height = 410; } Any guidance appreciated.
canadianbaken Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 As far as I know, it will export it but it doesn’t show the grid. The grid is part of the cockpit glass. So that blob is you and you have to estimate where things are around you. Placement should be the same you just don’t get the grid. Basically if you look at the RWR when it’s off the grid is there. ( Etched in glass display).
Habu_69 Posted August 6, 2019 Author Posted August 6, 2019 Rgr, I am aware that the grid does not export. I am trying to solve the detected emitter symbols displaying as green blobs.
canadianbaken Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 When I get home tonight I’ll check my settings. Mine show properly.
canadianbaken Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 So go to Mods/aircraft/FA_18C/Cockpit/Scripts/TEWS/indicator and open RWR_ALR67_init.lua with Notepad++. Change shaderLineDefaultThickness from 0.8 to 0.08 and shaderLineDefaultFuzziness from 0.4 to 0.04. I made this into a OvGME file. The smaller the number the clearer the pic.
gunterlund21 Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 fixed it for me... thnks much. I was in Art of the Kill D#@ it!!!!

bad_turbulence Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 (edited) So go to Mods/aircraft/FA_18C/Cockpit/Scripts/TEWS/indicator and open RWR_ALR67_init.lua with Notepad++. Change shaderLineDefaultThickness from 0.8 to 0.08 and shaderLineDefaultFuzziness from 0.4 to 0.04. I made this into a OvGME file. The smaller the number the clearer the pic. it improves from a blob but i have this item in the left center of the bullseye center of the RWR that is somewhat fuzzy. and then for example, the MIG-29 "29" is real fuzzy as well but you can make out that it says "29" , did i do something wrong or is that what you're seeing? But im not quite centered. that might be my viewports but i thought i have it dead on....EDIT, i check the viewports, they are ok. there is an "N" as in Nancy, off-center in the center of the RWR, not sure what "N" stands for but it's off to the left center of the bulleye, not sure why. But anyway, any help on what that is would be helpful and why its off-center. ALSO, in HELIOS, the AMPCD screen is jacked up with blurry green text. I heard where some when to white color but that seems to be unreadable on mine. ANY SUGGESTIONS? Edited May 11, 2020 by bad_turbulence
