F-86H entered service post korea starting in late 1954, Although predominantly intended as a fighter/bomber it would nonetheless offer a higher T/W with better fire power. over the F86F, also giving it better performance for A2A as well. Starting with block 5, F86H were being fitted with x4 M39 Revolving cannons

M39 20mm revolving cannons > M3 50 cal Machine guns

It also had more modern unguided munitions. Manual and SAC references Mk80 series bombs including Mk82 Snakeyes, as well as rocket pods.

Late in their life F86H's were also modded with Aim9B capability, and in ANG service were also used as a adversary to simulate Mig17F's until its final retirement in 1972.

The block 10 production specifically came with "F40 type" wing that had leading edge wing slats instead of the Fenced 6/3 wing, although earlier productions were retrofitted with the newer wing type. In total 450 F86H models were produced.

IF there is a Mig17F ever in DCS, this would also make a great foreign contemporary even if they never met in combat.
