"Prioritize Quality vs Performance" in Rift S Oculus Settings

I know this is a bugs forum so feel free to move (wasn't sure where else to post this).

 

 

Anyway, does this setting affect the DCS image render quality at all OR does DCS uses its own setting regardless what we choose in the Oculus Display settings?
