Alt-Tab - Huge Perfomance Loss

If I alt-tab out of DCS, and then return back into DCS. My frame rate goes from a typical 100-200fps down to 30fps - and stays at around 30-40fps until I restart DCS.

 

Has anyone experienced this, or is there something I can try to fiddle with?

 

GPU: RX 5700 w/ 19.8.2 drivers (latest)

CPU: 3700X

RAM: 16GB DDR4

OS: Win 10 latest updates

MOBO: MSI A PRO with latest BIOS

I have disabled full-screen mode, and this appears to have solved it.

 

So it appears to be an problem with full-screen mode - which is not a big deal, since non-full-screen still takes up the full screen, no borders or anything everything is great :-)
