Aeroscout Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 How do you assign lock on to run on one core in vista. I have a duel core processor, and I want better FPS. I know it's possible to assign one application to one core, but I don't know how do in vista. thanks and would a faster CPU help FPS or one with a larger cache? DCS Wishlist: 1) FIX THE DAMN RIVERS!!! 2) Spherical or cylindrical panorama view projection. 3) Enhanced input options (action upon button release, etc). 4) Aircraft flight parameter dump upon exit (stick posn, attitude, rates, accel, control volume, control-surface positions, SAS bias, etc). 5) ADS-33 maneuver courses as static objects. 6) Exposed API or exports of trim position and stick force for custom controllers. 7) Select auto multiple audio devices
thereminqblank Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 Here Aeroscout: http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=25279 Urze showed a way to start your PC with background processes on one core, and run other programs (like Lock On) on the other core. Just follow the instructions. "Unholy Roller" [sIGPIC]http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/images/userbars/A-10C_UserBar_01.gif[/sIGPIC]
