Instructor voice - sound effects

Hi,

 

I would like to create a voice from the instructor flying another aircraft.

 

I found audacity very useful, but I am not 100% satisfied with the effect applied to create a realistic radio voice.

 

Any tips ?

Save the file as mono .ogg at some low rate like 11,025hz. Anything of higher quality is wasted. Filter the file to limit the freqs to a band between about 800 and 1500 hz. Add mic click/static at start and end of the file to simulate radio transmission. Increase volume and loudness so you can hear the file in the ME.
