LaLa Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 (edited) This issue is related to A10-C. After zooming out from the HUD, the screen zooms back in by itself. This may happen several times before, it lets you zoom out and stay at that point. I usually zoom from mapping on Thrustmaster Warthog joystick that has worked perfectly for years. I believe the same effect was seen while zooming with numpad keyboard, See here, this was zooming out with keyboard not joystick. Edited October 20, 2019 by LaLa
LaLa Posted October 20, 2019 Author Posted October 20, 2019 This behavior can can also be seen in A10-C v 1.58. Not exactly the same, but similar.
LaLa Posted October 20, 2019 Author Posted October 20, 2019 Tried changing the video settings low, medium, high options makes no difference.
Tippis Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 That looks an awful lot like DCS has found some new device and decided to bind it to the zoom axis — every time it is queried it reports a zero value on that assumed axis and DCS obliges by snapping back to default zoom. Check your bind screen, and in particular the axis mapping, to see if anything has popped up there. The last few patches have all had a tendency to introduce new odd binds and mappings without the user asking for them and you might have been hit with one of those. ❧ ❧ Inside you are two wolves. One cannot land; the other shoots friendlies. You are a Goon. ❧ ❧
