DrIoannis Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 I just bought a used Warhog and want to make a service of the buttons. Will the use of this liquid help? http://termopasty.pl/en/products/kontakt-pr-en/
Gruman Posted November 20, 2019 Posted November 20, 2019 Do you have issues with your buttons or do you just want to do this as a preemptive measure? Which buttons do you want to service? Just the buttons or the 4/8-Way switch? If you dont have any issues: Just use the stick. I got my Warthog since it came out and never had a button fail on me. And if they did fail, I rather trying contacting Thrustmaster for replacement parts than trying to get any of that liquid into the enclosed contacts of the buttons. Contact spray's might help for a short duration, but there is always residue from cleaning liquids. Those will, in the long run, create more problems than they help. DrIoannis Posted November 20, 2019 Author Posted November 20, 2019 (edited) They feel a bit "dry" and "rough". This liquid has a special lubricant for potentiometers. Edited November 20, 2019 by DrIoannis
