key_stroked Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 https://imgur.com/WeFqeQ6 I can see the foot pedals and floor geometery through the glass, and if I move the pedals I can see them moving through the glass as well. Seems the glass is actually partially transparent. Was this to simulate a glossy surface without having to add an extra static texture on it?
Spiceman Posted November 30, 2019 Posted November 30, 2019 It’s not transparent, you shouldn’t be seeing anything behind it. So that’s a bug. IronMike Posted November 30, 2019 Posted November 30, 2019 (edited) A DCS Bug, unfortunately, it has been like that since release. It is less apparent if your shadows are on, more if they are off and usually only seen from the sides really from close up when shadows are on. The reason this is happening is that DCS' depth sorting for forward transparency appears to be broken.
