Is it possible to realign the 4 way switch? (Gunfighter pro)

I am using Gunfighter on the table.

I'm uncomfortable with the hat switch on the attached image.

Is it possible to realign the 4 way switch? (90 degree)

As far as I remember the switch is gated (by the plastic on the grip) so you can’t really change the direction of movement
