major FPS drop from HSD display

So I was playing on the Growling sidewinder multiplayer server, and I notice my FPS drops dramtically after a while from the HSD page on the MFCD. espessially when it's heavily croweded.

 

I also notice thay at first the symbols are sharp and crisp, but over time the get more blurry and have a halo effect on them.

 

Anyone else have this problem? Or know what I can tweek in my graphics settings to reduced the impact.
