Hi PRF vs Med PRF detection range against a cold target

Hi

I've been testing the JF-17 detection range against a cold target using both Hi PRF and Med PRF

In my testing the JF-17 radar detects a cold target further in Hi PRF, is this working as intended?

max detect range vs RCS 5m^2:

HI ~130km head on

MED ~80km tail

 

 

HI PRF has a higher closure gate than MED, so I think its acceptable test result.
