Chic Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 (edited) The Decimal-Degree data on the F10 map is 7 digits (43*15.345). I thought the typical DD config = (43.1535), with the number of post decimal digits varying with desired degree of accuracy. More importantly, I'm finding that when one converts the Degree-Minute-Second data from the F10 map using DD = degree + (minutes/60) + (seconds/3600), it doesn't correlate with the DD data indicated in the F10 map. I suspect I'm missing something. Any thoughts on this appreciated. Chic Posted December 18, 2019 Author Posted December 18, 2019 Resolved. DCS uses DDM (degrees decimal-minutes) instead of DD. Thanks to tom 19d.
