DCS BIOS not working after DCS update

Guys, DCS updated today, and since then when running the CMD prompt to start the data there is nothing happening, I don't see the data streaming and the bits don't show the data etc

 

Helios (or at least the little bit of it I use) seems unaffected, and so does my Next generation Motion seat, seems to be just the DCS bios. I have recopied the scripts part, no avail

Sound like you may be running the older branch of DCS with the separate SOCAT app for communications.

 

That version has now been superseded by the 0.10.x branch of DCS which is more of an integrated package that doesn't use a separate CMD app for communications.

 

If you are still running the older version I'd suggest seeing if upgrading to the newer version fixes the problem.

Thanks, definitely have to give that a go - right now, I can have two out of three working, but no more, as if I get DCS BIOS working, it knocks one of the other two out

Which version of DCS and DCS-BIOS are you running Les?

 

I an running DCSW OB 2.5.5.41371 with DCS-BIOS v0.7.1 and don't have any issues. I can see from other threats that you recently started using Helios. Have you considered this to be the issue? I seem to recall that e.g. Jetseat/UR had some difficulties if the sequence in the export.lua is not correct.

Hansolo, upgraded to the latest DCS BIOS and went through all the setups again and got it all working again.

 

I'm particularly impressed by the new release of DCS BIOS, not sure how I missed that. The new automated features are fantastic
