Xgears27 Posted December 31, 2019 Posted December 31, 2019 (edited) I hope someone can help me with the set up. I am running Nvidia gtx 2070 with 3 monitors using the surround option. The 4th monitor I am using to export my lua files for the f18 hornet, however when I start the game it looks like this. How an I fit the stretch problem? Edited December 31, 2019 by Xgears27
Lobinjaevel Posted December 31, 2019 Posted December 31, 2019 What is your monitor placement and resolution? Do you have it as 7680x1080 or as 5760x2160? I.e. All in a line, or two rows?
Xgears27 Posted December 31, 2019 Author Posted December 31, 2019 3 of them in line and one on the bottom. The 3 are as one and the 4th is separate.
Xgears27 Posted December 31, 2019 Author Posted December 31, 2019 5760 x 1080 for the top 3 as I am using the surround option from Nvidia.
Lobinjaevel Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 Yes, but are they aligned like that in the computer settings aswell? I'll take som pics later when I'm on my computer :)
Lobinjaevel Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 Then I'm clueless mate, Hope someone can give better advice :)
Hunter_5E Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 (edited) I would hazard a guess that your aspect ratio is wrong for your "centre" screen. It should be 5760 divided by 1080 which equals 5.3333333. Hope that helps. PS. You'd be better off setting them up as 7680 x 1080 as it will save on graphics loading. At 5760 x 2160 you're essentially rendering 2 extra screens (6, not 4) - even though they don't exist and there's nothing on them. The physical position of the monitor doesn't mean you have to go "T" configuration in windows and the monitor config file. They don't know or care where you put it. Xgears27 Posted January 1, 2020 Author Posted January 1, 2020 How do I just the center monitor aspect ratio? In S it within the Lua file?
Hunter_5E Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 Yes, edit your monitor config file in \DCS World\Config\MonitorSetup or C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS\Config\MonitorSetup if you have it there instead. It can be in either location and will work. Remember to only use Notepad++ to edit. Windows notepad will destroy the file. Screenshot of my config file for KA-50 and SA342 below as an example. Yours will have different values of course. Screenshots of my triple screen display here https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=259711
