MottWRLD Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 I've figured out how to turn Tacan on in the F16, set it to A/A TR, and then set it to the KC135's tcn station, all goes well. I see on the HSI set to TCN the direction and distance. the problem: On the HUD, under NAV, the co-ordinates stay set to something else I can't identify. But they are not the bearing and distance to the TCN I am set to. I just want it to show the TCN bearing and heading under NAV on HUD when set to a TCN. Ideas?
mvsgas Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 The version of the F-16 in DCS should not show TCN information on the HUD. Not sure if any version of the F-16 does for that matter. To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
takamba Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 The numbers under NAV are bearing and range from Bullseye to your position. DCS Rafale - please
Deano87 Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 As other posters have said, Tacan info doesn’t show on the HUD. You’ll have to look at the HSI, maybe you’ve been spoiled by the Hornet? ;) Proud owner of: PointCTRL VR : Finger Trackers for VR -- Real Simulator : FSSB R3L Force Sensing Stick. -- Deltasim : Force Sensor WH Slew Upgrade -- Mach3Ti Ring : Real Flown Mach 3 SR-71 Titanium, made into an amazing ring.
