onslope Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 (edited) **UPDATE** Confirmed working on Reverb with it's own included WMR controller mounted in front of you. Motion Compensation: https://tinyurl.com/motion-compensation Also support FlyPT Mover as a Virtual Tracker Hey! Searching for answer if anyone have solved how to motion compensate a WMR headset when in a motion rig? I used to have a great setup with my HTC VIVE but the WMR compensation is not working that great. Currently setup the VIVE tracker with the WMR Reverb but it throws me outside of the cockpit everytime a maneuver.. Currently have the HP Reverb and the resolution is just another thing. If there is another thread please link it below because I couldn't find it. But without motion compensation my P3 DOF Reality rig is off. And that sucks big time. gianlu320 Posted January 8, 2020 Posted January 8, 2020 Never heard you could motion compensate with WMR headset, specially if they are inside out tracking. I use a pimax and I finally made motion compensation work. Not many people here use motion platforms. You might get a bit more help on xsimulator forum I hope you can find a way, good luck
onslope Posted January 8, 2020 Author Posted January 8, 2020 Have used/I am using Xsimulator but I figured maybe someone just made it possible here. I made some test and I am getting closer. Using OpenVR Input Element to match the HMD of the WMR to the Vive space. Shifted the vive satillites to be behind and 90deg off make the tracker feel correct in motion compensation. Just have the problem of getting a grey screen whenever I activate the tracker in DCS.
