akosmaroy Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Hi, I wonder if it's possible to tell jester to 'not touch anything' for a whole? I was flying a mission in the RIO seat, set up my radar in TWS AUTO, identified my enemies, launched Phoenix' on them, then popped into the pilot seat for a second - only to have Jester change to PD Search, lose all my radar contacts, and have my Phoenix' miss everything. How can I leave the RIO seat so that Jester wouldn't touch anything? Akos
electricaltill Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 (edited) I think you want the "crew contract" menu. I don't have access to the sim right now so it might not be exactly that, but in there is an option to disable Jester. What I don't know is whether that setting survives you entering and leaving the RIO seat. I filed a (acknowledged) bug report last year on much the same issue. I did a cold start in the RIO pit, jumped into the front seat and Jester immediately shut off WCS. Proper red mist moment. Edited January 11, 2020 by electricaltill
