VpR81 Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 So, i hope this is posted in the correct section I used the search function but haven´t found any discussion about this yet and i´m realy wondering why. I played a lot of ArmA 3 (~3000hrs), spent a lot of time in the mission editor there and love the similarities the DCS editor does have (well, in some ways). Something i realy miss is the option to share missions directly. Back in the days i shared some of my better missions on the Steam Workshop and there is a very easy option for that implemented in the ArmA editor. There is just a simple button wich pops up a window where you can choose if you want to share a new mission in the Steam Workshop, or update one that is already uploaded. I´m not sure about how Steam Workshop license work and if there is even interest in that from ED´s side, but i think that would be a great addition to the editor. Maybe in combination with an upload to the ED homepage in tandem, missions crafted by stand alone DCS users for DCS steam version users and the other way around. Not every DCS user is active on the forum or searches the ED homepage for new missions and this would be a good way to provide easy access to all user built missions for the whole community. What do you guys think, or what is ED saying about this?
