johnv2pt0 Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 No unfortunately. I did this in one of my missions by using MIST for setting the flag and then using signal flare on unit within the ME triggers.

Is there an event handler that can determine when a player dispenses a flare? johnv2pt0 Posted February 4, 2020 Posted February 4, 2020 No, these are the only events we have access to and countermeasures aren't included in SHOT. https://wiki.hoggitworld.com/view/Category:Events If you're making a SP mission you could look into cockpit arguments to detect the hotas button press but it's impossible in MP. I'm not familiar with cockpit arguments though, so that's all I got.
