Ziptie Posted February 8, 2020 Posted February 8, 2020 Have I gone a bit “extra” crazy, or does the emergency brake pull / lever not function anymore? Pulled while decelerating on the runway, seems to do nothing. Pulled while parked, barely moved the throttles forward (barely) and aircraft easily moves forward. No mods. mvsgas Posted February 8, 2020 Posted February 8, 2020 The emergency brake lever does not engage the brakes. It just switches from one hydraulic system to the other for brake operation. You still need to press the key you have assign to brakes. To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..

Ziptie Posted February 8, 2020 Author Posted February 8, 2020 Apologies, I neglected to add that I was using the toe brakes as well.. could be an issue with double bindings (axis/key). Will double check if I have that and maybe is my problem. Was aware you it wasn’t just “pull the lever” but thank you for the assist. Just wasn’t sure if someone could easily confirm they have tried since the new upgrade and it functioned as before.. Will double check tomorrow. Ziptie Posted February 10, 2020 Author Posted February 10, 2020 It was a double bind, somehow one was added without me doing it. No idea how, possibly when I added the cougar MFDs...? It did some weird axis bindings for the Hornet as well (assigning them to the MFD buttons which is incredibly odd). Cleared that, works as should now.
