Changing Weapon display name on mfcd

anyone know how we can change weapons display name shown in mfcd like CM8, GB6 etc

I'm trying to add a custom weapon, the only way it works is by replacing gb or ls6. so I would like to change GB6 on mfcd to something else.

 

I tried Creating a new lua for this custom weapon , but it shows up as unk, and RDY is crossed out, even if I load the custom weapon as gb6 from mfcd it is still red and I cant shoot. (It has to be gb or ls6 bcoz the weapon will be using TOO or PP)

 

So if someone knows how we can add completely new weapon to thunder then that will be amazing, I wont have to replace by any current thunder weapons, otherwise just renaming the gb6 on mfcd would be fine by me
