On the Dbase manager page I saw several options including a "company route". Coming from a pure civ. aviation background I wonder what purpose company routes have for a combat unit? Is it possible to store several "standard routes" in the Dbase yourself?

The ABRIS is a commercial (civvy) product which was somewhat modified for use with the Ka-50.

Company route or 'existing combat or transit route' is the same thing, no matter what you name it.

And yes, you can store several routes.

Thanks for clearing that up. Never considered them military boys using standard routes from a database...

Like I said, it doesn't matter what you call them; military will use them for alternate flight plans, an air taxi company will use them for 'standard routes' ... in the end it's the same thing, just different use of the same feature ;)

You could for example store your Ka-50's ingress route, alternate ingress route, alternate target plan, etc etc all for the same mission, and call'em up as needed.
