Flyby
Just a quick link to Tom's hardware where the discussion is about overclocking the new Intel processors. http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/12/13/can_water_push_yorkfield_to_5_ghz/ Something to think about if you're of a mind to go that way. leafer
I can't stand reading hardware reviews; especially at Tom's. Take out all the jargon and most review can be reduced to one paragraph. "Take out a loan. Sell your kidney. What ever! Buy the sucker now!" Huh! But no...it always has to sound like a damn lecture - by someone whose sense of humor is the same as a dead toad. Make it entertaining and not a chore to read. Someone wants to start a review site with me? We can do this Siskel and Ebert style. Sheeeit. lol Man I miss Gene Siskel. But thank you, Flyby. :D Carry on. ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
Flyby
Leafer, you trouble-maker! :D don't you know those guys who write the reviews get paid by the letter? Add charts, and they get a bonus! (j/k) I tend to skip the middle portions of hardware reviews, and look at the section on gaming performance, then read the conclusion. For me that about sums the article up most of the time. carrying on! ;) Flyby The U.S. Congress is the best governing body that BIG money can buy.
leafer
Pretty impressive though, if they hit 5 GHz. Actually, I was hoping it blew up right around 4.99 GHz. Dang evil Intel. I hope AMD has a miracle or two up their sleeves. Gobble gobble... ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
