Could someone list the exact steps I need in order to put down an awacs or tanker and have them remain interactive? I will set down a tanker or awacs and sometimes I can contact them sometimes I can’t. I know how to set the radios but sometimes they don’t even show up in the communications menu as something I’m able to communicate with. Do I have to build waypoints for tankers and awacs or can I just drop them on the map and set them to refueling or awacs? Sometimes I put them on the map and I can communicate with them for a little bit and then I no longer have that option even though they are still airborne. If someone could list the exact steps that would be very helpful or tell me where to go to find the information I need that would be great too. Thank you so much!

You need to set a couple waypoints and put them into an orbit. If you don't, I think they will just go land. Set 2 orbit waypoints, i.e. wp1 and wp2, select wp1 advanced wp settings, add new, perform command, orbit, racetrack orbit, make sure you set your altitudes, tacan, frequency
