steelrfan85 Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 Anybody notice after the new update that the JDAM accuracy has changed. Before I could use the pod and put right above and it would hit. Now I have to put much lower on target to hit it otherwise it goes long every time. Also before the update I could put JDAM on msn page to TOO mode and I could designate target then undesignate, step, then go to another and repeat the process. Now the pod goes boresight each time which makes it much harder. Before it would stay in target area and could just slew. Normally the cage, uncage returns to bore sight. Am I the only one noticing these things happening?

Am I the only one noticing these things happening? No need to undesignate anything... I've just tested TOO drop of 4 JDAMs on a group of fuel trucks (one bomb would've been enough for the whole convoy but... :D) Make sure all your JDAMs are set to TOO. Step through them and set them one by one. Designate your first target with a pod or wpt. Pickle your first bomb. The tpod will remain locked on your first target. If you have additional targets in vicinity slew to the next tgt. and pickle and so forth. I record everything so if you need to see the clip let me know. Edited March 21, 2020 by Gripes323
maxTRX Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 The clip starts with me verifying all JDAMs are set to TOO by stepping through all 4 bombs. (before take off I set each bomb to TOO and fused to "inst". That's all. No need to set UFC since I was launching one at a time). Then I designated my wpt1 as tgt for the first JDAM. It happened to be right on top of the first target vehicle. Once in range I let one bomb go and immediately slew the pod to the next vehicle, locked and dropped the next JDAM, etc. The station stepping is automatic. You can do the same with 4 waypoints set as targets as long as the JDAMs are set TOO before tgt designations.
