Sometimes when I fly the viper some random thing gets designated and I can’t save sensors and stuff to the TGP. Idk if a steer point is the target and I can’t figure out how to unselect what is selected. I will get a point track on a target in the TGP and the CCRP drop line will still be behind me for whatever reason. I just want to know how to make the thing I’m lasing the the sensor point of interest. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

For SOI selection you will use DMS keys , i had hard times like you to discover how to use TGP , please look to attached PIC

CBemson,

We noticed the same issue last night. We could not get the TGP as SOI to designate a point.

I'm out flying for a few days, so I can't test, but I think it has to do with the mission I was flying not having any waypoints set for the viper. I suspect they are still relying on waypoint movement to make this work.

Did you have any waypoints in your mission? I did not, and it was also borked.

Thanks for the responses! That was the problem, I had no waypoints in the custom mission I built. I went back just gave one waypoint to all possible f16s and everything worked like a charm!
