Updating Fail

Couldn't post this in the "Updates" forum, so only other possible was here. If this should be somewhere else, please fix as needed.

 

However, last couple updates - I keep getting a failure with the updater. See attached files - last time this occured, I performed a "repair" to the DCS Open Beta (its the only one I use, I don't have the Full Release on my computer) and it worked the first time to enable me to carry on. Now it doesn't seem to work and now get the same message as posted.

maybe check that your anti-virus software hasn't quarantined the file.

Turns out that was the problem. My AVG did in fact quarantine the "dcs.exe" file... so had restored and created an "exception" - hopefully it leaves it alone from here on.

I have this error on the updater

What's the problem, I can't install JF 17 mode, I get the following message.

Did you try it out first and then buy it? If so, you would need to uninstall the trial copy before installing the bought one.

Are you on stable (looking at the version number in your log)? If so, the JF-17 isn't there yet - it is only on OB at the moment
