So as I'm excited 120% about the release of the DCS Supercarrier module, I decided to start participating at the forums and will take the advantage of that by asking a question about a doubt I have. Will we have a gyro-stabilized glideslope from day 1? I know we don't have that in the current stennis but I also know it is not meant to be a realistic ship. For those who may not know about this, is the fact that the glideslope moves up and down with the ship due to the waves of the ocean and wind. That's why they have it gyro-stabilized (mechanically as far as I know) so to not confuse the pilot. I tend to train a lot in IMC with the Hornet and that issue about the current stennis always kept me away from dcs until now that the supercarrier is about to be released. Now that I came here will start posting some bugs about the hornet as well, so I too can help with the development like so many people have been doing. Thanks.

Yes, it's been noticed and discussed looong time ago (not with ED tho') I posted couple of vids on YT showing how wild this can get in severe conditions then... I just got used to it trying to keep the jet in between the "swings" but yea, would be nice to have it working properly.

This is one of my biggest wishes for the supercarrier. Nothing would destroy more the realism of all the great things ED is doing, than having the ICLS bouncing like a ball like now.

hein22, instead of apologizing go and watch the new SC launch ops vid posted today by Wags.

BTW, the issue (if not fixed in SC) could be mitigated for now by setting minimal wind and cranking up the boat speed to 25 - 30 knots. I think ED toned down the deck movement a little in the recent update with moderate winds.
