Hey Folks im new to the MiG21 and just have a short Question:

 

Is the SPS-141 Jamming fuction implemented and if so whats the "burn through range" for a MiG21 trying to lock his comrade?

The SPS-141 does jam, althoug simple range jamming only, as every other jammer in DCS. Burn through I have forgotten, but it will be the same, as against every other jammer, as different strength is not simulated either. I can assure you though, that burn through range is well WVR.

 

As for using it: Jamming everything else than a F-5, the enemies burn through range is larger than your own radar range and even more so the range of your missiles. So not worth it in A2A. In a SEAD role it may come in handy against some SAMs, as it reduces the engagement range.
