I am using some mods for my F18 Helios setup and as a result, the green letters and numbers on my HUD are a little light and thin for me. Does anyone have a mod that just makes the letters and numbers on the HUD a dark green or black?

Try to edit the .lua materials file

Location : DCS World / Mods / aircraft / FA 18C / Cockpit / scripts

Edit the color you like

For black, try 0,0,0,0 ( I wouldn't recommend )

For some dark green, try : 0, 130, 65 ( play with the last 3 digits, as well )

I like the 3,254,228,70 color in your attachment so for the time being, I am using that.

edit: this turned out to be to light against a blue sky. Oh well.

I don't understand the suggested 0,130,65 as it has only 3 sets of numbers. Is the last number 255? Which 3 digits should I play with?

Thanks for your response.

The last 3 digits are increasing the strenght of the color ( more or less bright )

i have 70, instead 255, as the last digits

255 is to bright, for me

I'd recommend to use this amazing tool, for chosing the color ( RGB - numbers, etc )
