72hundred Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 (edited) Hi, How do I clear "ADV-BALT," from the left DDI? It comes up from a free flight mission and from a cold start. I've tried Google and and the forums and found this now closed thread - https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=210452&page=2 Its flagged as a known issue in the thread, but it doesn't say that it was fixed. And it still comes up. Is it fixed - therefore something I'm doing wrong? Or is it still outstanding? Hopefully still not outstanding as the other thread is from 2018. Attached image illustrating the advisory message. jeff64 Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 it only means you have engaged the autopilot in barometric altitude (balt) mode. but if you are not under autopilot at this moment : it is a bug indeed;
Darcwaynard Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 I'd try hitting the paddle switch to see if it shuts off the barometric altitude hold A/P. But as was said before if you're not engaging the autopilot then it's an issue.
