TEMPEST.114 Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 I recall a few years ago some wonderful person made a TARGET Thrustmaster Warthog profile where every state of each switch or knob was mapped to a unique keypress, such that a switch sends a different keystroke (for mapping in DCS) for every position of the switch. I have tried to find this for the last 3 hours, but I can't. Does anyone have any idea where this is? I'm sure it was hosted on this site. Thanks.

Dreadwing Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 Other than airing your opinion That nobody asked for, what help or point was that post?Instead of digging through old posts I was trying to give an alternative that would allow you to map off states to keystrokes. Just trying to help. You must be lots of fun at parties. Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
TEMPEST.114 Posted April 20, 2020 Author Posted April 20, 2020 If you'd answered the question that was asked, but then volunteered an alternative and why you think it's better; that would have been an appropriate response. But ignoring both the question and the required answer and instead giving your $0.02 like it was asked for (it wasn't if that isn't clear) then it came off as dismissive and irrelevant. It's all in how you say thing and what you say. Hint: If someone asks a question and you don't know the answer, stay schtum or say you don't know. Giving your opinion about something that wasn't asked isn't appropriate. But thanks for taking the time to explain, although I still don't understand why you think it's better. You just stated your personal preference like that matters.
